911 GT3 R Hybrid Porsche Debut in Geneva

Porsche has announced its new AG 911 GT3 R Hybrid car featuring innovative hybrid technology developed especially for racing. It features an electrical front axle drive with two electric motors supplementing 60 KW each to the 480-bhp four-liter-flat-six at the rear of the car. The 911 GT3 R also features an electric flywheel generator which spins at speeds of 40,000 rpm and supplies the driver with up to 120 KW boost every 6-8 seconds to the front electric motors.
